JICA Alumnus southeastern Europe regional meeting was held in Skopje, 18.12.2015

JICA Alumnus southeastern Europe regional meeting was held this year in Skopje, in December. In a very positive ambience, we talked about joint activities which „Alumni couples implemented in the last period. Being a „couple“ with Serbia, we reported about successfully implemented workshop on environmental protection in Belgrade, where the guest-lecturer was our member Sinisa Bencun, as well as about preparation of the same workshop continuation but now in Bijeljina, where our Association will be the host. Also, we talked about activities in future period, and the special support and focus was given to a young team from Montenegro, having in mind that they are newly established JICA Alumni. We were happy to see all participants' excitement about our suggestion to meet next year in Sarajevo, so next time we will have opportunity to report from „our“ field!:))

 

Održan regionalni sastanak JICA Alumni udruženja Podgorica 2014, 25-26.11.2014. godine.

U Podgorici je održan peti po redu regionalni sastanak JICA Alumni udruženja iz Srbije, Albanije, Makedonije, Kosova i Bosne i Hercegovine. Na sastanku se, između ostalog, razgovaralo o mogućnostima efikasnije regionalne saradnje između udruženja kao i o mogućim zajedničkim aktivnostima u skorijoj budućnosti. Drugog dana sastanku su se pridružili polaznici JICA kurseva iz Crne Gore, koji su izrazili volju da u svojoj zemlji osnuju JICA Alumni udruženje. Sastanak se održao 25. i 26. novembra.

 

 

Regional meeting of JICA Alumni associations in Sarajevo, 17 February 2009

A regional meeting of JICA Alumni associations was held in Sarajevo, on 17 February 2009. This was the second gathering of JICA Alumni representatives on regional level. The first similar meeting was held in Belgrade, 2007, with participants from Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. At that time valuable exchange of experience and many positive effects occurred as a result of that meeting so JICA Alumni in BiH planed regional meeting for this year as well. For us, it was a great pleasure to host colleagues from Albania, Macedonia and Serbia. At the meeting we discussed about implemented activities in each country. Representatives of Macedonia and BiH presented their activities and gave tips and recommendations to their ‘younger’ colleagues from Albania and Serbia. The meeting went in a positive and good ambience, and we agreed to start a forum where we could include all ex JICA course participants from the region. All participants of the meeting agreed that this could serve not only as an excellent base for initiating possible joint seminars and workshops, but also as a fast way of getting and exchanging information. The colleagues from Serbia took responsibility to start the forum in the autumn this year, so we will have opportunity to meet virtually and talk to colleagues. All participants agreed that a special focus of our associations should be initiating new memberships of JICA course participants, as these new members should be one of the most important source of active members in future. It is agreed that this gathering remain regular, and to be planned once a year, every time in another country. So next year we will talk to you from Tirana! Dewa mata!!!
