„Lean manufacturing” / December 21 2013

Seminar “Lean manufacturing” was planned and organized by Tarik Hadzic, member of the Managing Board, and it was held on Saturday, 21 December 2013 in Tuzla. The participants were representatives of different institutions, companies and private sector.
The main goal was to introduce to participants basic elements of production organization known as Lean Manufacturing. This way of organization and managing of the production process has become a must in leading world producers. Also, this method can be easily found in many service industries, such as Healthcare, known as Lean Healthcare.
Lean manufacturing stands for a production practice and by it we understand any resource utilization which doesn’t create any value for the buyer and as such it should be eliminated. From the buyer’s perspective who utilizes the product or service, “value” is defined as any action or process for which the buyer is ready to pay.
Lecturers were leading experts in this field.
